More about Trait-Based Writing Assessment and Instruction:
NWREL's 6 + 1® Writing Assessment has transformed the teaching of writing by linking writing to assessment that is closely related to national writing standards. Teachers from primary school through college use the traits. It has been disseminated to and is widely used in every state in the United States as well as foreign countries, such as Great Britain, France, China, Australia, the Middle East and countries in South America. Classroom instructional materials have been developed to teach each of the traits. The training we offer will change the way both your teachers and students view writing and will raise their levels of performance significantly. Workshops are a mixture of instruction, activities, materials and lesson plans which will support participants' implementation of the 6 + 1® Trait Writing Model. Workshops are tailored for K-2 Educators and 3-6 Educators. For more information, please call us or click the left side-bar link to contact us about scheduling services.
